On May 24th, the City of Charleston will begin it’s 16th season of the Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee.
Opening night is set for May 24th at Haddad Riverfront Park with Santa Cruz headling and The Unit kicking things off at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a wide variety of music from the 70s and 80s as well as today’s top 40 hits! After the show, stay for opening night fireworks!
On May 31st, The Cleverlys will put a unique bluegrass spin on cover songs from every genre. You’ll hear covers of songs like “No Diggity,” “Bad Romance” and “Single Ladies.”
Biker Bash returns to the Capital City June 6 – 8. They are happy to have Stratus and RiverJam playing Live on the Levee June 7 during what is sure to be an exciting weekend in Charleston.
FestivALL Charleston is celebrating their 15th year with 15 days in June. There will be two great Live on the Levee shows during FestivALL this year. The first will take place on June 21st with Here Come the Mummies. Here Come the Mummies features an eight-piece funk-rock band of 5000-year-old Egyptian Mummies.
The second weekend will feature The Verve Pipe with the Karen Allen Band on June 28th.
A Tribute to Tom Petty will take place on July 5th. John Inghram, along with William Matheny, The Sea The Sea and more, will pay tribute to one of the bestselling music artists of all time.
WTSQ – The Status Quo will be hosting a night at the levee featuring Bodega and Static Fur. This show will take place July 12th.
Another fantastic event that we are excited to welcome back this year is Multifest. On August 2nd, the Krista Hughes Band will kick off the night with Hybrid Soul Project headlining.
7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagles Experience will play hit after hit of Eagles classics with local opener Of the Dell on August 9th.
Country up-and-comer Dillon Carmichael will take the stage August 16th with Morgantown artist Charles Wesley Godwin.
Friends of Old-Time Music and Dance will host a night on the Levee with Hot Jazz Jumpers and Blue Yonder on August 23rd.
We will end the summer with Fletcher’s Grove and Bad Keys of the Mountain on Friday, August 30th. End-of-the-season fireworks will take place right after the show.
