EnAct Community Action will be holding its 2nd Annual BRAIN BOWL FunRaiser on Thursday, October, 5, 2017. Back again this year after such a wonderful time at last years 1st Brain Bowl. They HAD TO BRING IT BACK!
EnAct Community Action is a Governor’s designated West Virginia Community Action Agency that provides social services to low-income individuals and families in Clay, Boone, Fayette, Kanawha and Putnam Counties.
Their mission is to “focus on the unique social planning responsibility of community action agencies by identifying the causes of poverty in the communities we serve, developing solutions, building active partnerships, and lifting low-income individuals and families to their fullest potential.”
The 2nd Annual BRAIN BOWL FunRaiser promises to be a fun-filled, fast-paced Jeopardy-style competition testing your trivia and general knowledge skills. And when you get a “Jeopardy” or “Double Jeopardy” answer, you don’t provide the question – you have to successfully complete a “Minute-To-Win-It” challenge to earn your points!
What’s in it for you?
Bragging rights that you have the brightest team in the Kanawha Valley, and of course a trophy!
What’s in it for EnAct?
Much needed funding to helps them continue their mission of serving the low-income individuals and families in our five county area.
What makes up a team?
Each team will consist of 4 to 5 members and will compete throughout the evening until one team is crowned the BRAINIAC’S of the BRAIN BOWL.
What else is going on?
Social hour and registration starts at 5:30 pm and the competition begins at 6:30 pm. Entertainment will be provided during the social hour as well as a cash bar to help you loosen up for the competition. Along with the cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres will be available throughout the evening.
Don’t forget to invite for friends, family, and co-workers to come watch the competition and cheer your team along. If they aren’t competing in the BRAIN BOWL, they can compete in the Silent Auction!
Team Entry?
Just a $500.00 investment (whether it is a 4 or 5 person team). Each team member gets 2 drink tickets and each team member gets a commemorative gift.
General admission cost?
Best news EVER. General admission to watch and cheer your favorite team on is FREE!
