The show is a collaboration with Kanawha County Schools, Optimum Communications and Jim Strawn & Company.
The show airs daily at 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Optimum’s channel 17.

The show airing August 14, 2023 – August 21, 2023 features West Virginia State University.
We interviewed Ericke Cage, President of WV State University.
He discussed the University plan to pursue starting a School of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources.
They are the only land-grant institution in the United States without one.
He also spoke about the new WVSU Downtown Center opening in September. Location is on Capitol Street beside the new Kanawha County Public Library.
President Cage talked about the launch of their Capital Campaign as part of the university’s strategic plan.
We also discussed some of the new academic programs and their growth; namely cyber-security and their nursing program.
We ended the conversation with the excitment surrounding the Yellow Jackets upcoming athletics season.
