WV Trophy Hunters Association

Glen talked about the Trophy Hunters Assoiciation. WVTHA is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to the conservation of Wildlife and the preservation of hunting and hunters rights.

They put the WV Hunting & Fishing Show on Annually. This year the show is January 19-21, 2024 at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.

He explained that all proceeds except for costs to run the show and association operating expenses, are donated to programs that promote or protect hunting, fishing, wildlife, conservation, and related educational activities. While raising funds is important, the primary reason for hosting this show is to bring hunters and fishermen into contact with organizations that can provide them with goods and services related to these activities. The WVTHA is 100% volunteer based.

Over 175 booth space and exhibitors are expected at the Show.

Including the WV Whitetail Hall of Fame. The WV DNR staff is providing the scoring.

Ashley talked about the WV DNR.

She discussed the acres of wide-open public lands. Expansive lakes and flowing streams. Abundant wildlife that calls the mountains home. This is West Virginia. She calls it home so do many.  A place where you can discover nature in a new way and enjoy world-class hunting and fishing opportunities.

She also talked about the Women in the Outdoors program.

She expressed her gratitude to the Governor of WV for his support of the WV DNR and the partnership with the upcoming WV Hunting & Fishing Show.
