Highlights is a 30 minute weekly TV show featuring organizations, events, grass-roots efforts and people who move our state and community forward in a positive way.

The show is a collaboration with HD MediaThe Media Center and Jim Strawn & Company.

The show taped and premiering at 8:30 p.m. on May 23, 2022 highlights the Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee & the 28th Annual WV Senior Sports Classic.

We interviewed Delegate Mike Pushkin, who is also part of the Live on the Levee Committee. He talked about how live music is the fabric of our community’s soul.

He also discussed the formula that goes into the selection of musical acts.

The free concert series begins on May 27th and runs through September 2nd.

We also talked with Harper Gardner, Chair of the WV Senior Sports Classic board. Harper discussed the upcoming 28th WV Senior Sports Classic. The Games are being held in and around Charleston, WV July 8th – 23rd. They are offering 13 individual and team sport. Athletes are 50+  in age. There are 5-year increment age divisions.
