The show airs daily at 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Suddenlink’s channel 17.
We interviewed Kanawha County Commissioner, Ben Salango. He discussed the vision, the process, and how the new Shawnee Sports Complex in Institute, WV has become so poplular so quickly.
This project involves the redevelopment of 127 acres at Shawnee Park into a multi-sport complex capable of hosting local, regional and national tournaments along with special events. The Park features a Youth Board focused on giving the children of Dunbar and Institute a safe and encouraging environment to grow and develop as athletes and people. The Shawnee Sports Complex has six collegiate sized artificial turf soccer fields lined for multiple sports, four collegiate size turf baseball and softball fields with movable mounds and fencing, and 27 acres of grass fields along the bank of the Kanawha River. Shawnee will have two fully functioning concession stands along with a welcome center.
They are adding a new restaurant to the complex soon.
