Highlights: From the Heart of Our Community, is a 30 minute weekly TV show featuring organizations, events, grass-roots efforts and people who move our state and community forward in a positive way.
The show is a collaboration with Kanawha County Schools, Suddenlink Communications and Jim Strawn & Company.
The show airs daily at 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Suddenlink’s channel 17.
The show airing July 17, 2017 – July 24, 2017 ‘highlights’ the event Inside the Huddle with Tony Caridi, a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central WV & International Pageants coming to Charleston, WV.

We interviewed Jammie Ferrell, Sports Director, LM Communications, about the upcoming Inside the Huddle with Tony Caridi, His company, LM, is the radio sponsor to Inside the Huddle, which is a tailgate party for WVU football fans that raises necessary funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Come and get geared up for the 2017 football season as Tony Caridi, play-by-play announcer for the WVU Mountaineers, takes us ‘Inside the Huddle.’ Spend the evening with Tony in a tailgate/game day atmosphere and support a great cause, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central WV. Wear your game day attire and enjoy tailgate food, beverages and Mountaineer fellowship. Tony will take you inside the huddle and discuss impact players, incoming freshman, the Big 12 Conference, etc.

We also talked with Amanda Duffy, Mrs WV International Director and Lexi Farmer, Miss WV International 2017.
They discussed the 3 different International Pageants coming to Charleston, WV from August 3 -12, 2017. Miss International, Miss Teen International and Mrs International. Over 100 women from around the world will gather in the Capital City of WV in hopes of being crowned. The venues include the Clay Center and the WV State Culture Center.
Ms. Farmer, from Spencer WV, is also a U.S. Air National Guard member and Senior at WVU. Her platform is the Wounded Warrior Project.
She is excited to have family and friends attend the pageant and root her on.
Mrs. Duffy, a former Mrs West Virginia, spoke with passion about the structure and full schedule the ladies will endure.
It is a nice economic boost for our community she added.
