We also interviewed Jennifer Waggener, Executive Director, Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley. She reminded us of their purpose.  Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley exists to support the independent living of older adults in the communities by lending a helping hand, neighbor to neighbor.  They are an interfaith ministry that values the diversity and gifts of people of all faith traditions. They recognize that all faith traditions share a common call to serve those in need. They do not discriminate against any individual by reason of age, disability, race, color, ethnicity, gender, creed, national origin or socioeconomic status.
Jennifer discussed their funding streams and highlighted their upcoming fundraising event, Pedal with Purpose.
Oedal with purpose
Pedal with Purpose, presented by our good friends at Zenergy Cycling, is a fundraiser to benefit Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley. Each registered rider will enjoy a 20-minute “mini-Zen” ride led by the immensely qualified Zenergy Cycling instructors. They’ll show you everything you need to know to get the party started! The lights will go down and the music will go up and you’ll find yourself on a journey that will get your heart pumping, lift your spirits, and motivate you to be the best you can be!
All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. Every participant who raises at least $100 will get 10 tickets for a TEN chances to win one of several fabulous prizes.
