Highlights is a 30 minute weekly TV show featuring organizations, events, grass-roots efforts and people who move our state and community forward in a positive way.
The show is a collaboration with Kanawha County Schools, Suddenlink Communications and Jim Strawn & Company.
The show airs daily at 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Suddenlink’s channel 17.
We interviewed Michael & Rachel Ervin, parents of Gideon Ervin, Youth Honoree for the 2019 Jingle Bell Run.
Michael & Rachel discussed the journey of Gideon who was diagnosed with juvenille arthritis at age of 3. He is now 6 years old.

The Jingle Bell Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 8:00 a.m to about 10:30 a.m. at the Columbia Gas Auditorium at 1700 MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston, WV.
Michael also invited everyone to a fundraiser for Gideon’s team on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon at the Coal River Coffee Company. It is a ‘Waffles & Coffee’ event with proceeds going to the Arthritis Foundation.
